Step 6: Tick the box in front of the files. Then click Recover to retrieve all of them.
Remember not to save the retrieved photos on the previous SD card. And we suggest you save them on your Mac or on another external storage device.
Note: always remember to check if you can find all deleted files on the disk or folder you save them before leaving the results page. If it doesn’t successfully recover all files and you already leave the result page, you’ll have to scan your memory card again and it costs time.

Cons:
The free edition can only recover up to 1GB data. If you have more files to restore, a professional edition would be a better choice.
For files that are APFS-formatted or APFS-encrypted-formatted, the free edition does not support file recovery. If you have files with these two formats, again, the professional edition can solve your problem.

Verdict
Though the free edition of iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac is not able to recover data larger than 1GB with APFS or APFS-encrypted file systems, overall, it’s an excellent data recovery software.
