What is its Battery Capacity?

The battery life isn’t unique. However, it is still better than average for a 17-inch high-performance laptop. The battery capacity is just 48Wh. However, this is insufficient for meeting requirements when playing videos from an external source. Moreover, it maintains the system in an optimal state for surfing the internet. When used for internet surfing, the battery lasts for over five hours. Infact, this is a good time for a 17-inch laptop.

This laptop also has better battery life than a typical gaming laptop. However, it is not very much better. It reached just about 8 hours of battery life in streaming video tests. The GTX 1650 configuration seems to have a slightly smaller battery. Moreover, the power jack is in the middle of the right side. When plugged in, the power cord always seems to be in the way.

Is there a discreet gaming power?

The performance is essentially that of Acer’s entry-level gaming laptop, like the Nitro 5.  However, it is without the angular body, and red accents. It lacks NitroSense software with direct access to fan controls and power plans besides system monitoring. The 15.6-inch clamshell is best suited for life on a desk. The system’s speakers sound clean. Moreover, it does not distort at full volume. Moreover, it is like that because they don’t get particularly loud. They are fine for casual use. However, there remains a requirement for headphones or external speakers for anything else. The webcam and mics are fine. However, as long as it is well-lit and one is close to the display.

How is the system performance?

This makes it ideal for travel. Moreover, it is a budget laptop with acceptable performance. It has a 500GB hard disc paired with 4GB of DDR3 Memory and an Intel Celeron N3050 processor. Moreover, it can handle web browsing, homework, and even light gaming.

What are the shortcomings?

However, a severe shortcoming is the restricted number of ports on this laptop. If has only one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port. This means that one can only plug in a few gadgets at a time. If one plans on using the laptop for more demanding activities, like graphics editing or gaming, then upgrading its components is a must. Moreover, the laptop screen could be of better quality. Therefore, reading the text is also a challenge.
