Shahzada and his son Suleman, to satiate their thirst for adventures, embarked on the expedition aboard the Titan submersible. However, the tragic incident muffled them by death, resulting in losing contact a thousand miles under the sea.

Moreover, Dawood and his 19-year-old son were among the five onboard as the tragedy struck during the expedition when the vessel just above its intended destination became a victim of an explosion. The submersible operated by OceanGate Expedition began its journey early Sunday morning, descending 12,500 feet under the sea with its five crewmen.

However,  the vessel lost connection with the mother ship, MV Polar Prince, after one hour and forty-five minutes into their planned descent of two hours.
